Well, what an exciting few months it has been! We have been working on a huge remodel with UDeliver and 390Design to bring the most amazing remodel we have ever done together! All for the amazing Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe Winner, Angela Bassett.
She graciously let us into her vacation home render a plan for turning a charming 1960’s home into a gorgeous beach house. Our vision was to remove walls and more walls! Check out some of the before and after photos from this huge project.
Starting with the BEFORE Kitchen. (Lots of fluorescent lighting and red brick).
NOW, take a look at the AFTER. (Lots of light!)
We are so excited to be a part of this entire design process. We had lots of dust, brick, and paint everywhere, but it was a blast! We tore out two pantries, a double oven and an electric oven, both encased within a brick wall, along with covering a door in the kitchen that gave access to the garage to add much more space to this kitchen.
We also removed the dropped ceilings and the backsplash and flooring. We added Calcutta nuvo quartz and painted the dark wood cabinets Sherwin Williams Bright White (upper) and Sherwin Williams Mindful Grey (bottom). We added a microwave drawer and much more needed cabinet space. We replaced all of the green appliances with new stainless steel appliances.
Check out these amazing counters! We added a new window above the new deep sink along with a coffee bar next to the window seat.
What a view! This kitchen has a huge open dining area, window seat, and a new wall of sliding glass doors to see an ocean view for miles!
